I just got a provisional admission offer from SRM KTR (for MCA), and when I logged into their portal, they’re asking me to pay the fee via NEFT/RTGS/IMPS using a specific bank account number and IFSC code assigned to me. There’s no payment gateway or card option—just direct bank transfer.
Is this normal? Has anyone else here paid their admission fees this way for SRM or similar colleges?
A few things I’m unsure about:
- Is it safe to transfer money directly to the given account?
- How do they confirm the payment—do I need to upload proof or will it auto-update?
- How long does it usually take for confirmation?
- What happens if something goes wrong with the transfer?
