im currently a 1b mathphys student (science) and I want to switch to mathematical economics - finance specialization (art faculty). I came to uni not being 100% sure on what i wanted to do so I choose this major since it seemed versatile and I really loved math and physics. I attended a lot of club events, hackathons, events outside of uni etc and found I really want to have a career in finance that combines math as well. My only issue is I dont know if I will regret it... since I also want to do research under the math faculty but will being in arts ruin my chance to do research under a prof specifically in stats? or is the transfer even possible since I havent taken any econ courses (no space) but i took all the other course requirements for the major for first year (cs 115,116,math 135, 136,137,138). Also will i have bad coop/ job opportunity if its math econ in arts faculty rather than math? thank you! (:
