Those who passed in DC
Has anyone heard back about swearing in? I was told character and fitness has to be done before but I’m not sure If that’s true.

These floors don’t look that bad in my pictures but in real life they are splintering and not smooth at all. Not sure if I should DIY sand and stain the floors or just have them replaced.
I just purchased a 100 year old home and these are the original hardwood floors. I want to figure out the floor situation before I move in with all of my furniture.
All tips are welcomed for either sanding or replacing the floors all together!
And if you think I should sand what color should I stain them?
