STAR responses in Q&A format?

I'm applying for an APS3 contract role through an external recruitment company.

The initial application via Seek was my resume and a "short note" addressing the selection criteria.

The initial selection criteria were very brief, eg, "Strong written English including spelling, grammar and attention to detail", and I grouped some of them together as headings with my responses underneath .

I've received a positive response and as part of the next step the recruitment company has given similar but more detailed selection criteria and wants "A one-page response addressing the required “selection criteria” and "desirable criteria” in a Q&A format."

I'm struggling to figure out what "Q&A format" means - is it that they just want a separate response to each criteria? As in:

1. This is a thing we think is important.
This is how I've shown I can do the thing.

They've listed 7 of them in 10 pt font in the information pack and they take up a third of a page on their own - so a three-line criteria is going to get a six-line response. I just want to check I'm on the right track with this and can tweak my original application instead of starting from scratch.
