just a couple of questions.

im gonna attempt to make a weatherproof kit with a diesel heater. I’m wondering a few things. I’m doing my research but if people have advice off the top of their head….Fantastic

VEVOR & ALTERNATIVES

Looking at the Vevor. Wondering if the cheap alternates are just as good?

AIR INTAKE

The heater will be outside. Concerned if it’s raining about the air intake pipe. Will the rain effect it and can it just be inside the weatherproof box that has small holes in it.

JACKERY

I understand a 10a is required minimimum to power the unit it up. Any recommendations on a Jackery or similar. The one I’ve seen is £200 not looked in more detail at these.

Will it function in southern UK winter temps outside?

Am I right in assuming as long as the t pipe and muffler are outside the weatherproof box, that’s fine, doesn’t matter if it hangs out by 100m (exagerating) or 3 inches.

Hello everyone recently decided to live in my car. working out fine at the moment. Id like to keep it going as long as I can.

Anybody have some ingenuous ideas on how to heat it. Rechargeable heaters e.t.c Don’t want to run it off the car/engine. can’t seem to find anything at the moment.

edit: Ive come across some prefer some recommendations/infenu 😂

its a bit if a moot point as I’m out of the place now. A horrible situation with a nutter of a man came to a head.

He pretended he was the owner, is subletting and came home one day and asked to leave. Had no where to go or anywhere to put my stuff, luckily lt worked out.

Anyway. For future situations, can he do this. If I said to him I’m not going anywhere, what could he do? I did not have a contract, he was live-in and I just rented a room. I only found out later the house was not his.

2nd question. I want to alert the owner. I’ve done a land registry request but address is registered to the residence, but I think I’ve found the business the owner runs (property business)

Any tips on how I can alert him and others that this man is a nutter and sun letting. Other people should not be exposed to his crazy!!

Hi everybody.

So, last year, I met a lot of people. Some of you might know the place...Seaford Beach. A beautiful little beach with free parking....Anyway, since chatting to a lot of the people I've seen van life in my future.

Don't think I can afford a camper van yet, maybe a transit with a matress in the back. I still work, so I can eat and prepare breakfast and a nice lunch at work. I have my gym, where even now I am saunering and steaming and showering as the place I live in only has a bath and I hate baths. I'm not really even using the kitchen in my shared house at the moment (long story)

I need very little. Only thing I THINK would bother me is Winter and I do like to cook nice meals/batch cook for dinner. That is about it. Apart form that, I don't care where I am. I spend all day outdoors most of the time due to my job, in nature and a lovely area, so fuck outdoors at the end of the day and the sunlight :-)

I honestly don't care for much, don't need much. I'm just sick of spending money just for creature comforts I don't really need.

My main questions are these:

How to keep warm in Winter?

How to cook nice dinners? (Breakfast and Lunches I can do) I mean I know I would save a huge amount of money and could eat out, but I'd still like to be fairly healthy.

I know where I can park and not be bothered....Best way to block the windows e.g car curtains :-)
