Theory: "Cyberpunk 2" should use Cyberpunk 2077's endings as the three lifepath starting points

Theory: "Cyberpunk 2" should use Cyberpunk 2077's endings as the three lifepath starting points

In Cyberpunk 2077 we start as one of three lifepaths: Corpo, Nomad, Street Kid right?

For "Cyberpunk 2" — what if the three endings of 2077 become the three starting points?

The Devil ending → Corpo start

V is essentially an Arasaka prisoner stored in Mikoshi. Project Orion starts with V deep inside the belly of the most powerful megacorp on earth. Maximum corporate access but zero freedom. And then sort of a redemption/revenge arc?

The Star ending → Nomad start

V left Night City with Panam and the Aldecaldos. So it starts with V completely outside the city, with a found family as their crew. A Nomad start for "Cyberpunk 2"

The Sun ending → Street Kid start

V is a living legend. Maximum street cred, fully independent operator, Night City knows the name. Starts Cyberpunk 2 at the absolute top of the food chain in Night City.

Like its kind of a no brainer for me - this is that it solves the canon problem without picking one "true" ending. The Player's choices from Cyberpunk 2077 actually carry weight instead of being cosmetically acknowledged.

CDPR has already built this framework — they just need to connect the dots they already laid.

And from Witcher 4 we know that CDPR is not afraid to canonize endings - Like the Ciri become a Witcher ending.

**Edit:-

Man yall really dont want V to be the protagonist? Why tho? The endings left it open ended we dont know for sure if V survives or not. Cyberpunk 2 could be about V's struggle to survive. I mean CDPR has hinted that V wont be the protagonist But I still want them to be.

Also some of you are saying V wont work again as a protagonist - Greralt worked as a protagonist in three games. Granted his story was unfinished but so is V's. Like in the endings I listed we dont know for sure if V will die.

Also the artwork is not mine.

Take-Two/Rockstar's patents for GTA VI are unreal. How is ANY of this running on a PS5?

- Every single NPC gets their own individual personality. Their own aggression level, their own patience, their own reaction to weather. Running on a neural network. Per NPC. Kinda like RDR2? (US11684855B2)

- Characters physically assemble their movements in real time from modular blocks depending on their injury state, fatigue, terrain, and weather. Not animations playing back. Like the assemble animations in realtime as they are happening. (US11620781B1)

- Hundreds of thousands of ambient dialogue lines for random pedestrians that only trigger when a specific combination of conditions are all true simultaneously — time of day, weather, whether they saw you commit a crime, whether they recognise you from before. That is for people just walking around randomly btw. Again - some of this was used in RDR2 I think. (supported by US11684855B2 personality system)

- Sweat, blood, rain and fluid dynamically simulating on 3D surfaces in real time based on surface angle and material. The opening scene from the trailer where is Jason sweaty from fixing the roof and other similar stuff (US10685152B2)

- AI predicting what individual body parts should do mid-action using motion capture data. Not playing a clip. Predicting the movement. (US11951384B2)

- Zero loading screens between online sessions via continuous world streaming. (US11794114B2)

- And there is also that insane anti cheat to prevent modding on PC. Super processing heavy. (US11273380B1)

The 2022 leaks confirm a lot of these.

The PS5 CPU is a Zen 2 chip from 2019.

Someone explain how this is physically possible on that hardware.

Especially from the 2022 leak videos although you can see that they are using a controller they are running on RTX 2080 Ti and Super and 3080s and stuff.

You can look at all these patents for yourself by searching the name in the brackets on google patents.
