I’m only gonna be in HK for two full days and a half. I will be using public transport should I bother getting an octopus card?

So I am supposed to be going to Denmark for a semester abroad, I was sent the application to SIRI Danish Agency for international Recruitment and work permit for students
However I needed to submit this within thirty days or it would delete.
I don’t live near London Manchester or Edinburgh and I work full time as well as study so I was unable to go to the centre for biometrics. I have a 25 day holiday starting today I am going abroad. I sent my first part of the application out on Wednesday last week (it’s Monday now).
I needed to send it otherwise it would delete whilst I am away on holiday. But I’ve been working everyday since and haven’t been able to go to the centre for my biometrics
But I need to give them my biometrics within 14 days of sending this out. But I am unable to go to London.
I contacted the VFS support and they were very unhelpful the lady was forgetting everything I was telling her and kept putting me on hold.
I’ve tried emailing them multiple times about this since getting the application and had no response.
I could go to a centre abroad but I am English and I am going to Asia so I don’t know if it works the same.
I don’t know what to do I feel at a loss and I feel that this short time period is unfair because I don’t have time to pop to London quickly within a short time span as someone who is busy and has a life. I don’t know what to do and I am getting 0 support
