Like many people here, I am not sure what to expect when it comes to processing times - things have been crazy this year.

I put in my application in January and had to address a tiny deficiency which I did over a few emails in April and May (or at least I believe I did since getting a confirmation email back from NABP is almost a minor miracle). They updated the deficient items (filed under Other on 5/29).

Do I still have a chance to sit this year? What is the deadline - September 1st or three weeks prior to that?

I wanted to check if anyone is on the same boat as I am. I received an application defficient notification in early April, where they requested my birth certificate.

First of all, they don't communicate at all if the documents you sent meet their requirements and they do have some unreasonable requirements. I had to figure out a way to notarize a birth certificate which is not allowed in the US and then i had to find a court translator to translate just a stamp (the document tiself is in multiple languages), since Immitranslate and services which are good enough for USCIS won't cut it for the mighty NABP.
Anyway they updated the received date today.

Do you know if I am looking at an 8 week wait or do they process "defficiencies" differently? I though I'd ask them but might as well be talking to a wall.

So NABP revised their scores on October 25 and on their site it says that exams taken before January 21 require a R21/L22/W22/S25 which is all great since I have a valid test with those scores.

However, if I am understanding the bulletin correctly (LOOKING AT THE SENTENCE IN THE BOTTOM) that sentence should really be TOEFL exams taken between October 25 and January 21st.

Which one is true? If I have passing score that are valid but take before October 25 can I still qualify?? Does anyone have any similar experience
