The best electives courses for anyone taking business-related courses such as marketing, finance

Out of experience, I’d greatly recommend choices from the following. I’ve tried to leave a few of my reasons below each option…. I hope this will be helpful

MT357 – Digital Marketing Platforms and Strategy
Best if you want practical, modern marketing skills. Covers digital campaigns, platforms, analytics, and online strategy. Very useful for careers in social media, e-commerce, and remote work.
MT358 – Social Media Marketing and AI Optimization
Probably the most future-oriented elective. Strong choice if you’re interested in AI tools, branding, influencer marketing, or content strategy.
MT450 – Brand Management Strategy
Excellent for leadership, product management, and corporate marketing roles. More strategy-focused than technical.
MT355 – Marketing Research and Analytics
Best if you like data, trends, surveys, and decision-making. Helpful for analyst-type roles and MBA preparation. Some students online say the workload is manageable compared with other upper-level courses.
MT459 – Consumer Behavior
One of the most interesting courses psychologically. Helps you understand why customers buy things. Useful for advertising, UX, branding, and entrepreneurship.
MT453 – Professional Selling
Very practical if you want business development, entrepreneurship, medical sales, tech sales, or management later. Sales skills transfer into almost every business career.
