Worst Case To Best Case Scenario!
OK, listen to this I received a Pizza Hut order it was $33.33. It was cash on delivery, when I arrived the person only had $100 bill, so I relayed to them that I didn’t have change for 100. I only had a few dollars but not $70 to make the change. The wife was very understanding, and she called Pizza Hut and tried to figure out if she could pay online with the card. They said, unfortunately, they couldn’t, and she would have to get change for the hundred in order to get the pizza. she asked me if I work for Pizza Hut, and I said no, I worked for DoorDash. We’re independently contracted. By this time, the husband was sitting in the kitchen and I could hear him yelling, who’s at the door? Why is the pizza so expensive? blah blah blah I tried to get in touch with Dash support, but no luck, so after waiting about 10 minutes there, she was trying to figure out what to do. I overheard the husband say, just give him the bill and let him keep the change. Now in my head, I’m thinking a bill, so maybe a $50 bill, cause the total was $33.33, so I’d get a $20 tip, a $50 bill would be my biggest tip yet, but to my surprise she came back to the door with the same $100 bill and said, here you go with a smile, so I was supposed to receive $30 and I received $100, so I got a $70 tip. This just went from my worst case scenario to my best case scenario. Thank you, DoorDash! 💰
