Is it bad that with each rewatch I like Floch's character writing more and more?

I'm not really sure why Floch is growing on me with each mew rewatch. Don't get me wrong, he is still extremely annoying (especially in the beginning) but I like I see a new angle or perspective for his character development, everytime I watch season 4 again.

To think back to the pathetic, little, coward wimp he was in the Battle of Shinganshina arc - and all the way to season 4 when he clung to flying boat with all the determination to do what he thought was right in protecting his people.

Not only that, but his instantaneous reactions and reflexes throught the Rumbling arc. is also very impressive. I'm not sure how much to credit his wits because I feel like his brains was just Eren's scheming and plotting.

But one thing I can say for sure is that the coward wimp did not die a cowardly death. And I think that's good enough reason to appreciate a character's writing no matter how much the character itself is hated.
