Hey guys coming up to 6 years with my employer but I’m keen to leave
One of my mates who is a roof plumber is getting his long service leave after 7 and half years in the industry but has been with multiple employers. I always thought you needed to be with the same employer for 7 years to qualify but apparently there is something called leave plus where your employer puts a percentage of your wage in very week so if you move workplaces you actually take you long service leave with you.
I wanna know is everyone doing this or is it only for union sites or employers who want to sign up ??
