T420 uses: Xorg, i3 Window Manager, Arch Linux
Issue: Xorg seems to fail on boot, i3 failing to launch.
tried: reinstalling xorg, rebooting 5 times, deleting x11.

i am without music for the time being until this is fixed, as on the computer I am using to create this post, the speakers, headphone jack aswell, have been broken for years now.

This is not a new installation at all, it has been with me for around 2 years now. I simply updated it, shut it down, and then booted it back up again later to find that it's only booting into TTY. I have failed to understand this one.
