Best place to find WHV work?

I (29F) just moved to Australia with my partner of 3 years (who’s Aussie) on a WHV.. then we broke up :,) now a bit lost and unsure what to do next. I’d like to spend the next ~6 months in one place to heal and have some stability, main thing I’m taking into account for where to go next is work availability. I’ve joined the FB groups, looking on seek etc. But would be helpful to have input on best areas to set my sights on.
Was thinking Perth but have seen it might be difficult to get hired on a WHV? I’ve spent a lot of time in Victoria and NSW. I have 6+ years of experience in agriculture (including a M.S. in soil science) and 8+ years of experience in service industry. I’d be looking to start mid June.

Thanks!

Breaking into plant shutdown work in US? Transferring certifications? Lvl 1 UT & lvl 2 MT

I’ve recently got certified in level 1 UT and level 2 MT in Australia (AINDT, ISO 9712). I got my experience hours (~300 hrs for each method) working on a power plant shutdown in Australia. I’m a US citizen, hoping to break into this kind of work back home. Is it possible to get into this work without any connections? How would I start? In Aus, it seems to be very much about who you know. Everyone is in this work because they’re dad or best friend from highschool (and my ex was my pathway here) lol.
I have a M.S. degree in non-related sciences, but would really like to put these certifications to use in the US if possible.
I’m also curious if anyone has gone through the process of transferring certs from Aus to US. From what I’ve read, it seems like we do not have a national NDT body and it’s just a by-company basis?

Thanks in advance!
