Introducing an ESPHome component for DFRobot Huskylens. This brings affordable no-cloud AI recognition to the edge. It allows training the device on faces, objects, etc for edge identification. You can train the device on your kid's face and then monitor a sensor for your kid being in the frame. It runs over the I2c interface.
