Fistulatomy next week
I am having a simple fistulatomy surgery(with an abscess) next week. Never had an experience with general anesthesia.. so its gonna be my first time. Little anxious about it. Also on zepbound 7.5 mg right now. I am told to stop zepbound shots one week before surgery and couple weeks after surgery till i feel normal. Its been 9 months so far and i have never paused the shots. Very anxious about that too. With little to no movement and very less protein compared to before, I am worried about the consequences. But i know surgery is the priority and weight loss can wait.
Anyone else had a similar experience as mine? Or just have had fistulatomy before? Any tips to prepare myself? Or any piece of advice? Please share anything that you think will help me🙏
