I applied for a non-tenure track position on 4/28, and the posting says application review would begin on 4/29 and that the contract start date is 7/1/26. I haven't heard anything back, and I'm in a bit of denial about what that means with that tight of a turn around. Would it be completely out of line to reach out via the email listed in the posting and ask about timeline?
