Corporate went into the Bob Evans on Statesville road near Northlake mall today and announced they are closing. I think of all the ppl I know who have worked there for decades and wonder if they will be ok.

May be a weird question but my daughter and I have spent a ton of money taking my grandchildren to do activities to keep them busy this summer & are now trying to find fun free things to do with them as summer winds down. Is there anywhere in the area to take them walking in a creek and exploring where it’s safe? They are 8, 7, & 3 & are wonderful swimmers. I guess by safe I mean not a lot of trash or not in a high crime area.
