Hello everyone, I am an avid hat wearer who is looking to buy my first cowboy hat. I will be working at ranch in wyoming, and am set on buying one. The main question I had was deciding between felt and straw. I know that straw hats are typically meant for warmer weather in the summer, but with it being my first hat and the weather variability (going to have some snow and cold weather for the first month), looking for any and all input on this. Was also planning on asking the salesman at the store but thought it was worth asking reddit. Thanks!
