Low Mobility in Scotland
Hi everyone!
My family and I are planning a trip for 9 days in June. We're very excited to visit this beautiful country!!
However, my mom has low mobility. She doesn't use a wheelchair, she can go up stairs, but she can't hike. We know a huge part of visiting Scotland is the hikes, and many tours I've seen account for them. So without them, maybe we're spending too many days in the Highlands and Skye?
This was our plan:
-Edinburgh 3 days
-Highlands 2 days
-Skye 3 days
-Glasgow 1 day (next day we drive to Edinburgh airport)
We still want to see nature and we're willing to drive for as long as it takes.
Would you change the time spent in each place? Should we go somewhere else? We're also considering taking one day from Skye to go to Inverness if it's too much time there, although I've read it's not really worth visiting.
Any advice or recommendation would be greatly appreciated!!!
