Stock analyst on Odysseus
been playing around for a couple of weeks, the stock analyst on Odysseus:
- Runs a Python script to fetch all metrics from Yahoo Finance,
-Uses web_search to understand main driver behind 1Y stock price variation,
-Applies financial reasoning skill (finance expert core provides reasoning gates, risk triggers and final report format)
- Queries RAG directories containing 35000 docs of different finance resources (institutional stock analysis protocols, valuation principles, company specific docs, etc.)
-Produces final report in a controlled format
-If requested, uses MCP server EDGAR SEC to capture latest filings (10K, 10Q or 8K) to fetch important sections and to reassess verdict if needed.
-If requested, uses a professional pdf creation skill to print the report in a presentable format.
Not financial advice of course but it was really fun to get Odysseus to do all of this with gemma4 26B without the agent getting too tired or lost and with 0 hallucination. for someone as new as me to all of this, I'm really proud of it :)
