What is bar prep teaching you

I took a break with my kiddos this weekend and have a chance to see the bigger picture. Bar prep is brutal esp if u have an already full life, but it also feels transformative in a great way. We don’t stop during to take stock.

How has it changed you? Maybe it’s too early to ask. I’m a retaker and every time I go for it, I feel it makes me better across the board. The sheer discipline forcing me to focus on me and my why has been beneficial to my life.

Eyes burning

No matter how much sleep I get. Not to be dramatic but I think it’s time for a half day off. Anyone feeling a physical shut down? Even if u want to keep going? Ur body is saying no.

Too many sources

is anyone drowning in sources? i feel like i bought things at different stages of bar prep as a security blanket but now its too much and I don’t have the ONE thing i turn to. i promised myself I wouldn’t let this happen. and here i am.

i have critical pass card, use Themis for questions and lectures but dont use the lecture handouts to study. i love the FRO. I have a private tutor so MBE decoded was supposed to be my bible and i rewrite the cheat sheets bc they’re thorough and nuanced without being excessive. and i do questions and my own flashcards.

when i wake, my brain shoots rockets everywhere. I figure one month left i can zero in on one source.

what is ur ONE thing?

Switch to ST book?

A friend came to visit yesterday and started quizzing me on the critical pass cards - I kindve sortve knew stuff ISH but not nearly enough to say i know the topic. I’m doing Themis as a retaker and am finding myself in the throes of bad habits and avoidance in studying - doing the things but not retaining from doing the Themis program. I dont think Themis is low quality - i love it. but does anyone feel like it coddles u a bit? When i turned to the strategies and tactics book for property questions, they seem SO MUCH HARDER than what Themis gives. I want to switch to the ST book. Anyone jump ship on the Themis program and just do any questions they could get their hands on as a retaker?
