How to clear overrides?

In the Projections and Future cash flow I see the box for "View Override Report" but do not see where to clear those selections when I want to try another scenario. Is there a shortcut to clear the overrides without going back individually in the table?

Thanks

Learning the Platform and sharing my plan

This scenario reflects that I retire at the end of this year. I am comparing this with another scenario where I continue to work 2 days per week for 2 more years as a safety net against sequence-of-return risk or continued higher inflation. Am I correct to interpret the platform's projection that I have good confidence that I could retire this year given the 100% success rate, 188% funded and after tax estate of 3.4M?

Thanks for your anticipated feedback.

Sharing an anonymous Plan

To share an anonymous plan and get feedback, do we simply create a post such as this on reddit and paste the link within it? If not, where do we post the link to?

Vehicle Payments / Replacement Expense

If we enter $8k year for vehicle replacement (savings), does the platform expect that the $8k will be withdrawn from the portfolio accts during the year or expects those funds would remain in the portfolio accts until the actual purchase?

If the platform expects the $8k to be withdrawn during that year and put in a designated sinking fund savings account, would it not be preferred to leave the money accruing in the portfolio for the 8 or so years until the purchase date?

Thanks

Spending less than Planned

  1. If we have our plan spending pegged at say $100k year but don't do the extra activities and only spend $90k for the year, would we only withdraw from our accounts $90k to meet the actual spending and leave the unspent $10k in the respective investment accts?

  2. When does one execute the withdrawals form the individual investment accts to fund the spending? Do we do this on a monthly basis?...quarterly?....or as the expenses are incurred?

  3. If withdrawals are made at various times throughout the calendar year, how do we know the order of operations or priority as to which type of acct to withdraw from first or second etc?

Thanks

What does the platform do with the amounts entered for the RRSP and TFSA contributions in the Expenses section?

What is best practice for entering the RRSP and TFSA contributions in the Expenses section? Is it intended to enter the total amounts that we will contribute during the course of the year? And does it then show that total amount as an ongoing savings expense divided as monthly?

Thanks

How do I enter a cash asset amount on the platform that is not a saving account?

How do I enter a non-registered cash account for the platform to use in it's projections which is in addition to a margin investment account? I have an rrsp, tfsa, margin acct plus a cash amount. Need guidance as to how to enter the cash so that it is not viewed as a savings acct. Thanks
