How to clean smelly tumble drier?
As the heading says. Our tumble drier is really old and bad and regularly takes multiple goes to dry one load of laundry, but I'm the only one of the three of us in the house who doesn't have ADHD so my housemates regularly forget to respin their laundry and leave damp clothes in the drier for days. Which then need to be rewashed half the time cuz they smell.
But the drier itself now has permanent damp clothes smell and it emanates when it's spinning as it heats up and stinks up our whole kitchen/living area (it's open plan with no separate room for the laundry machines, and we only use it so much cuz our lease says we can't air dry clothes in the house which is ridiculous, it's Ireland you get maybe ten days a year suitable for outdoor dying!)
I know how to clean a washing machine, but how do you clean/deodorise a tumble drier?
I'm in Ireland so it's a front loading condenser drier if that makes any difference.
