Finally a horror movie done right (after a long time)

Finally a horror movie done right (after a long time)

Gave it a watch in broad daylight cuz i easily get scared 😄 and it was worth every minute. This is what happens when a director (he's the writer too) actually plans to show the audience the importance of spouses relying on each other out of love. This is a romantic drama disguised as a horror movie. Its almost perfect because of very few cheap jump scares, full of message and a beautifully written third act that shows how two souls who are meant to be together give up on their differences and decide to become eternal lovers. Fans looking for Sinister, Conjuring style horror should avoid and rest (drama movies lovers) please give it a try.

WTF was that

After watching Pearl I had very high hopes for the sequel. I at least expected the movie to have the visual and visceral style of the first two movies. The movie started okay but the introduction of tons of mainstream characters was very off putting for me because it was very clear it will go off track very quickly. By the third act the movie had gone completely off the rails and the ending felt like a Scooby-Doo episode finale. Such a disappointing end to the story of a very memorable character.
