Please help me out on consumer proposal
Hello everyone,
I am currently $20,000 in debt. I’ve been speaking with BDO, and they have proposed a consumer proposal where I would pay $250 a month for 60 months, which totals $15,000.
To be honest, paying back $15,000 on a $20,000 debt feels excessively high to me.
Has anyone else negotiated a better reduction with a similar debt load?
Should I accept this offer, or is there room to push back?
Appreciate any advice or insights from people who have been through this process!
