I used to target broad keywords like “digital marketing” and got very little reach on my blogs.

Later, I learned about Long tail and Local keywords and started using After that, like instead of using “digital marketing agency” and "best digital marketing agency" I start using " best digital marketing agency/ freelancer in delhi" which is more local and long tail keyword.

I noticed better reach, more clicks, and even some inquiries.

When I started learning digital marketing, I used very common keywords like “digital marketing agency” and “SEO services.” But my blogs were not getting traffic because the competition was too high.

Then I learned about Long tail keywords and Local Keywords. Instead of targeting broad keywords, I started using keywords like “best digital marketing freelancer in Delhi” or “SEO tips for local business.”

After this small change, I noticed better blog reach and more clicks. I still have a lot to learn, but now I understand that choosing the right keywords can really change your strategy.

For beginners, my advice is simple: don’t only chase high volume keywords. Use keywords people actually search for in real life.
