Idea for a case study - museum undergoing change/managing innovation

Hi pros, I'm a graduate student doing a case study diagnosis on how orgs manage innovation, how innovation functions in an organization, and where it gets blocked.

To clarify, this is an assignment. And I'm looking for an idea for an org to look into.

I'm interested in the visible storage system, and want to find an art institution/org that is considering employing visible storage as a change/innovation. So not those who already have a visible storage employed (like V&A) but ones that are still in the process of planning the implementation of change.

But honestly, it doesn't necessarily have to be visible storage, any other innovation/innovative operation model works.

Some requirements for the choice of org given by my prof:

  • have sufficient public information available
  • be undergoing or requiring change
  • Allow for comparison to at least 2 similar organizations
  • need to use a combination of public data (reports, press, financials), comparative analysis, and at least one additional perspective, i.e., interview, talk, or expert insight.

Any input is appreciated! Thank you!

Your organization choice should satisfy the following

  • have sufficient public information available
  • be undergoing or requiring change
  • Allow for comparison to at least 2 similar organizations
  • You need to use a combination of public data (reports, press, financials), comparative analysis, and at least one additional perspective, i.e., interview, talk, or expert insight.
