Can anyone confirm if this guy is legit or just a con artist?

Pretty sure this is the biggest channel on YT that discusses purely DPDR related stuff, but I can't tell if he's the real deal or just using the niche condition to make a living.

(I am a chronic sufferer of about 7 years)

phenomenal symbolism / foreshadowing in Three Days of Happiness

Most probably are familiar or have heard of Three Days of Happiness, but in case you aren't - Kusonoki (MC) is a depressed 20 yr old who has nobody and nothing in his life that he values and comes across a store that buys years of your lifespan. He ends up selling all but 3 months of his life for the paltry sum of 300,000 yen (like 2 and a half thousand dollars). A woman meets him at his front door (Miyagi, FL), saying she's his "observer", basically there to make sure he doesn't cause issues for anyone around him.

In this scene we see them share a cigarette kiss, as I guess it's called. I didn't think anything of it at first viewing, but after finishing it I realized it's genius. It's a metaphor for their relationship - cigarettes bring joy at the cost of lifespan, which is a reflection of the deal Kusonogi made. Him lighting her cigarette is her taking part in the 'devils deal' and giving up her lifespan for the same joy, being together.

I would love to hear other people's thoughts on this.
