Considering purchasing Light Phone III second hand this week.

Used dumbphones before with great success so not extremely intimidated.

Do however rely on Whatsapp for updates about volunteer work (mainly via groups).

Info online is conflicted and occasionally outdated.

Those of you who have found workarounds for Whatsapp, what is working well, especially for group messages? Are you otherwise maintaining the integrity of the phone and the concept of no internet access?

I am in Europe. I think Whatsapp to SMS is an option but I think the cost in prohibitive here.
