GRIET fresher here. I live around 250 km away from Hyderabad. My induction is on 11th and orientation is on 12th. Since my parents are coming for the orientation, it would be difficult for them to stay for two days. I tried contacting the college but couldn't reach them. Is it okay if I miss the induction on 11th and attend the orientation on 12th? Is induction attendance compulsory?

Are freshers allowed to bring bikes to college?

Is there a separate parking area for students?

Do we need to register the vehicle or get any permission?

Are there any restrictions for first-year students?

I got MGIT CSM in the second phase, and in the final phase I've been allotted GRIET CSBS.

I'm confused about whether this is actually an upgrade or not.

My priorities are:

Placements

Coding culture

Higher studies/GATE preparation

Overall college reputation

Would you consider GRIET CSBS better than MGIT CSM.
