What is this??

Anyone know what this is? I am a first time snake owner, so have never seen anything like this. He pooped over night which I cleaned this AM, went out for errands most of the day and came back to check on him and saw this in his cage. Could it be more poop? His last meal was 6 days ago. (Feeding day tomorrow)

Shedding?

I noticed that my baby (about 8 months) has started “shedding” on top of his head, around his nose, and his upper neck area but does not appear to be in a full shed state. What could cause this? Humidity too low? It’s been at low to mid 40s pretty consistently.

I did just size up his food three feeds ago so wondering if that could be linked?

Any help/advice is welcomed! This is my first cornsnake so want to make sure I am doing everything correctly/adjusting where needed.

Snake on a snake

Just realized my baby’s head marking looks just like a snake head! 🤗

Is my baby okay??

For context: when we got him I noticed he had a little bit of stuck shed on his tail but was from a much older shed and couldn’t do much for removal since shed was prior to us having

Fast forward: he had a perfect shed with us however it left the tip of his tail really floppy and weak so I did research on possibility of it falling off due to blood loss from previous stuck shed.

Today: the tip had been really hard since the perfect shed and today when taking him out of his log I noticed a little bit of blood at the tip of his tail and the crusty tip was gone but now looks exposed and making me scared and nervous for him to be uncomfy…. 🥺🥺🥺

I’ve added pictures for context but was curious if there’s anything I need to do for him or will this heal on its own?

***First time snake owner so any suggestions/advice are welcomed!!!
