My snake recently had a problem with shedding. I changed his substrate and he finished doing it. Now he has some strange black in the front of his lower jaws. He had only white scales there before and now it looks bruised or dirty.

I checked it with my finger to see if it's just dirt, but it didn't come off. My snake also didn't seem to mind it too much.
