Hey Champions! Pokemon Grey, Day 1.
Falling. You are falling. Falling from your position of respect and power, falling from your throne, falling from your pedestal. You, are the (former) champion of Kanto. Well, old kanto. Its been years, but you can't really remember much about the battle. You were dethroned by a child. A child, who is now in complete control of a region. But that can't happen, its completely unfair. And of course, thanks to the words of your former subordinate, Lance, everyone has been led to believe as though you hadn't ever existed. You retired, and released your pokemon or gave them to friends, laid low for years. But, its time to go back. You can't sit idly on the sidelines anymore. You have travelled to a new region, and must regain your title, before going back to face down the child champion of new kanto. You have travelled to the region of Orre, which has just established a pokemon league after the villainous organization Cipher tried to take over the region. But, you have already given away your pokemon, so, you have to start anew. Get a fresh start. Choose your starter.
Hey, time to go OOC to explain a few things. So this will be a double battle oriented hey trainers as it takes place in Orre. As for starters, you have four options. You can get an Pikachu and Eevee, three random options from me, six random options from me but it starts at level 3, or for the people out there who like making fakemon, you may use one of yours with my balance approval. So, you will get two starters, as double battles. I will be making a ping list, so if you want to be added, just comment your username as well.
I will be using very simple pixel art for this series, because I'm very new to it this is literally the first thing I've done. Its very small, I decided to start simple with a 12x12. This took an hour and a half. It was fun.
