I just wanted to come on here and say that as a patient I witnessed what happened in the Welland ER this afternoon and want to give a huge shoutout to the cops, nurses, and security guards for doing everything they could to calm the situation with the young girl having a mental health crisis. As a patient sitting in the waiting room witnessing that, I felt so bad for what nurses have to go through on what is unfortunately a daily basis. When will the abuse with nurses stop? They’re just doing their job and trying to help the situation and they are treated like shit. This patient was going absolutely feral and they were so professional throughout it all.
