Help with door not opening
I have a 2017 Kia Sportage and both driver’s side doors have been acting up. The front door won’t open from the outside after being locked and then unlocked. it either has to be opened from the inside or you have to pull the handle several times to get it to open. Once it’s opened though, it will open normally from the outside, so long as you don’t lock it.
The back door won’t open normally from the inside out outside. You have to continually shimmy the inside manual lock switch while also pulling on the handle and it will eventually open.
I just payed $1300 to have both handles and the actuator replaced, but the problem persists. I’ve googled, YouTubed and searched all the forums I can find, but haven’t found anything.
Can you manually adjust the cables for the locking mechanisms?
