Getting kicked from tournaments with hardware identifier error on new PC build - tried everything, need help
Hey everyone, I've been getting kicked from tournament matches with the error "You were removed from the match due to the use of tools that hide or alter your computer's hardware identifiers" and I can't figure out what's causing it.
My setup is a new ASUS Prime Z590-P motherboard with my old CPU (Intel i7-11700F), GPU (RTX 3060), and RAM carried over from my previous PC. I was able to play tournaments fine on my old build.
Here is everything I have tried to fix it:
- Closed all background apps before launching Fortnite
- Disabled Discord overlay
- Disabled Wallpaper Engine from startup
- Disabled all WAN Miniports in Device Manager
- Disabled Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter
- Disabled Alienware Command Center components in Device Manager
- Uninstalled Alienware Command Center
- Disabled Nahimic/AWHeadset service
- Disabled A-Volute AWHS Audio Effects Component
- Installed Intel Management Engine driver
- Installed Intel Consumer ME driver
- Reinstalled LAN driver
- Repaired Easy Anti-Cheat
- Verified Fortnite files
- Enabled fTPM in BIOS
- Disabled Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Platform
- Updated BIOS from version 2002 to 2803
- Enabled Secure Boot
- Confirmed no VPN or virtual network adapters
- PREFORMED A COMPLETE FRESH REINSTALL OF WINDOWS 11 WITH ONLY ESSENTIAL DRIVERS
- Contacted Epic Games Support who said they are unable to help
There are many more things that I have tried that I didn't even list as well
Even after a full fresh Windows reinstall with only essential drivers installed I still get kicked. Epic support has told me they cannot assist, and I cannot go through EAC support because I'm not actually banned, just getting kicked. Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix?
