I’ve always heard that zucchini was ridiculously prolific. I planted four plants this year and have had barely any grow.

I have a ton of little black beetles in my cucumbers and tomatillos. Does anyone have a good suggestion for getting rid of them?

I was wondering if lemongrass in Sacramento is possible or what other’s experience here was. I’m a pretty novice gardener but I think I’d use it quite a bit if it actually grew here.

I got my garden in a little bit late this year. It’s been in for about two weeks now.

I hung up a painter drop cloth over it to provide some shade to keep the young plants from getting burned up by the sun too much. They are spending most of the day in the shade and I wonder if I should take it down, or if I should leave it up. With the hundred degree weather in the forecast I’m not sure what to do.

I know I’m a little late, but I’m having a heck of a time finding tomatillo’s. Does anybody have any recommendations for where I could find a couple plants?
