I picked up the starter set and was hoping to play it with a few friends that have played ttRPGs before but aren't what I'd call hardcore tabletop players. So far it seems a bit...overly gamey?

I'm wondering what the general opinions on it are and the big pros/cons for new-ish tabletop players.
