Like with a lot of others here, I opened a renpy exe file which I thought would lead to the game I downloaded but unfortunately it was malware.

At first I thought it was just some simple malware that I've dealt with before so I removed it the way I was used to. It wasn't until today when I got messages from my friends that my Steam was compromised as well as other accounts.

I remembered what I ran back then and it made me look through this subreddit and found a lot of other people having the same problem as me.
