Update To My Bike Decision
(Pic taken a while ago right before completion)UPDATE: So first off definitely learned my lesson, as well as most certainly still had a good time doing it. Long story short I fully overhauled the yz250 and did a bit of a copycat cody webb yz250 build, not quite to the same extent but I think you all understand. I’m talkin hydraulic clutch, Hitlis powervalve system, every body bearing and bushing, custom valved and sprung suspension. Frame sandblasted and powder coated, carb and crankseals, full new polisport restyle all new brake lines and cables anyways it goes on! Gotta say the bike definitely feels a lot more capable in the woods and has done more for me the past 15 hours than I feel it ever has! However despite all this positivity I can tell the bike is getting hot and isn’t liking the gnarlier stuff that I am now getting very obsessed with riding, and I now feel again like perhaps I am missing out on the great feel that is a modern 300 2T. So now I come to y’all again in search for advice, is this bike worth keeping for the hell of it? Do I sell? Part out? I know trading in will give me next to nothing, just tryna see which path leads where. Also still can’t make up my mind on a bike, shercos I still think I day dream about the most but I also think I really like just being a bit different haha, I’m sure I’d be happy with a KTM or Husky or even a beta for that matter but alas I can’t think, hit me with everything yall got!
