Infection?

Today i’m officially 6 days post extractions. I got all 4 pulled and for the last 2 days i’ve noticed a hard lump in my left cheek that hurts only if I touch it or put pressure. I been kinda putting it off cause since surgery my left cheek was always a little more swollen than my right… now it’s day 6 and my left cheek is still a little swollen while my right has gone down completely. I’m not in that much pain just if i’m too late to take ibuprofen my teeth get sensitive and the extraction sites feel sore on both sides. I can open my mouth and chew. I’m not 100% sure it’s an infection but from what i’ve read most people who have had a “lump” has said it turned out to be an infection and it was puss. I called the office I got the extrications done they told me I have to call my office first for a follow up because they’re my main and I couldn’t get an appointment till Thursday :/. Also I was prescribed antibiotics (Amoxicillin) and by Sunday I should be completed with those so I’m really not sure if I should be more concerned or wait it out? Anyone else experience a lump in their cheek?

Day 5

Got all 4 wisdom teeth extracted last Saturday and so far swelling on my right side has pretty much gone down- still have a little swelling on my left plus both my cheeks feel bruised if pressed on! I can chew a little bit! I tried mac and cheese and cup of ramen yesterday but was paranoid about food getting stuck in my sockets :/. Anyway, my pain has gone down as well.. I would say it feels more like tooth sensitivity everywhere whenever i’m late to take ibuprofen and my left side where the extraction site still feels a little sore. Is the tooth sensitivity normal? I have bad health anxiety so I second guess everything– just looking for a little reassurance!

4 Wisdom Teeth Extracted

Hello, I just got 4 of my wisdom teeth removed about 5 hours ago. I’ve been trying to eat things like applesauce or ice cream and have noticed if or when it gets to the extraction site (mainly my bottom right) I get this burning sensation that last at least a minute. Has everyone experience this? Is it normal? The dental office is closed tomorrow so I won’t be able to call and ask until Monday.
