Unsure if this is a good idea for my first game in UE5?

Recently I stumbled into the realization the feasibility of making a game (assuming you have the time, patience, and discipline to see it through. I love the idea of doing this as more of a passion project rather than for profit if it makes money great. The most important aspect is, will other people enjoy this and can I get it out in a reasonable amount of time. My rough idea is a linear shooter/ horror. It will be following a special forces squad sent to investigate and dismantle infrastructure being used for biological weapons on an island. I want the antagonist to be a rogue state, Russian/ Soviet in nature that captures an atmosphere similar to metro or stalker. The “scope” of the game being based solely on the shooting elements and story telling of the game hinting at historical events related to Russian/ Soviet experiments. The horror being derived from those experiments and depravity of the antagonist. My intention is to create modular assets/ use free pre made ones while creating the rest after that. See if I can find free voice actors/ musician’s that would be willing to participate for credit to build their own resume. Simple streamlined mechanics in blueprints. I know it’s not this simple but it seems I can piece these together creating levels relatively quickly? What am I missing is this to ambitious and or boring?
