Itinerary 10 days yunnan

This is a rough idea of what our trip to yunnan could look like. We are going in August. I’ve not added jade dragon snow mountains as I feel it will just be insane with tourist - I’ve already seems mountains in Nepal and somewhat think a bike trip to the villages around lijiang will be more interesting. BUT - I wanted to get some input or something. I’ve not written all sights in details but does this sound like a reasonable plan? Anything we missed out? There’s so many places we’d like to go but we don’t want to spend all day in a car to go see a village for an hour so we have to settle for the more touristy spots I suppose.
All input will be appreciated 🙏

Crosso dry60 panniers for 55 Euro

If you are alright with their crosso mounting system and can live the the colour you can get a set of Panniers for 54 euros. Thats cheaper than i can get a set of secondhand ortlieb panniers where I live ( Sweden) and gives me 20 liter extra space and the weight is the same 1,9kg. That said im alright with using the crosso mount which is obviously what keeps the price low.
Ive just ordered mine today so I cant say anything yet but have only read amazing things and they guys from Crosso were super helpfull on whats app.

Atran Velo tour lite bs compatible crosso mount

As the title suggests I want to know if anyone ( I know it might be a long shot) know ms if atran Velo tour lite bs are compatible with crosso bag with the old crosso mount. Would need the adapter for the lower hook I know that.
I can’t find measurements on the atran Velo but it’s a good price and I’m trying do a cheap ish set up for me and my husband

Or if anyone has suggestion for a decent cheap rack ( atran is less than 30 euro ) that’ll fit the crosso system and is available in Europe ( ideally Sweden)

My husband and I are thinking about taking ten 10 days in Yunnan in August.

Is August a really bad time? Rain and all that?
It can’t be any other time unfortunately.

We would arrive and depart from Kunming.

I thought about the obvious Dali and lijiang - would like to see Shangri La also but worried it might be too much, but we were nature lovers so I feel like we would love it there.

Is leaping tiger gorge even possible in August?

I feel like it makes sense to have a couple of days in Kunming also - especially when we arrive as we will arrive from Europe and probably be a bit tired.

Is there somewhere else we should consider?

I’m torn as I would love to see as much as possible but also just want to enjoy, eat lots of good food and not stress around.
