I’ve been working in UAE for about 8 years. Tbh, I’ve loved it. I didn’t have many bad experiences Ofcourse there were bad times but the good times outweighed them. The ONLY thing that really frustrates me is SLT!!! OMG!!!!! I feel like I’m going crazy. They keep changing the layout of PPTs, forms, the way we mark changes every term. I don’t understand. I really had high hopes when I’d find out we would have someone from western background that things will be made easier but no. We had one that would only make comments about the shoes the staff would wear. Another one from UK threatened a child in secondary it was so bad. Tbh, whenever they’d come to me I would just nod because I knew they wouldn’t last.
