I grew up watching Chinese cable with my grandma, but it's been years since we've cancelled that service. I have no idea how anyone could help me with this, since I only have wispy memories of this movie but here goes.

• I remember it following a child protagonist, who may be vaguely Naruto-esque in color scheme and in characteristics.
• A monster hunting plot
• A giant metal ship/submarine
• And distinctly at the end of the movie, the female ship captain/warrior?? watching the main character asleep, sheathing and un-sheathing a sword while debating whether to kill him.

I'm sorry if there's not enough details, but it's my first post on this sub and I've been thinking about this movie for years now.
