Hi All,

I'm a landscape photographer and I'm looking to buy my first ND filters. I can see the appeal of variable NDs (e.g. Reducing the number in your bag, not having to change constantly), but I have seen a lot about X patterns reducing image quality.

I'm looking to go up to ND1000 for long exposures. Am I better getting an affordable array of ND stops or will a variable suffice?

I'm looking at K&F due to budget constraints, but open to feedback.

Also thinking of 55mm stepped up to 64mm to avoid vingetting. Good idea?
