So I was chilling in my back patio reading one day when out of nowhere a black mist appeared 12 ft away from me.

The weird part was that it stayed for about 1 min but then it disappeared all while I had eyes on it.

The mist looked like a human sized void, I say mist but it looked more like a contained black smoke, but not smoke.

It wasn’t ominous either. I was shook but mainly because I thought it could’ve been someone. It was night time so seeing a human size figure would spook anyone out.

After about a min I tried phoning my friend but as I was calling the figure disappeared.

I wish I hadn’t called maybe it would’ve stayed.

Has anyone had a close encounter like this?
