Hello,
I'm 5 months on cpap now. February was an amazing month, ahi of 0-0.3, of feeling rested and great. However I also also have other sleep issues related to fibromyalgia. My sleep test didn't show CAs, but CAs are the dominate issue with CPAP.
End of Feb everything fell apart, I'm not sure on the cause. I couldn't tolerate the machine, ahi jump, sleep quality was terrible. An example bad night https://sleephq.com/public/e86e8567-1ac6-4a3c-b9dc-0d04baf76a96

I'm back to using the machine all night and things are okay this past week but still nothing like February.

A few thing
- Feb was EPR 3. I'm now down to 1 and I think I'll try 0 soon. I hope this might help with the CAs and I don't think I need the comfort of EPR anymore as I've acclimated.
- I use a chin strap and cover-all mouth tape
- In the last few hours of sleep some nights the tape becomes saturated and air passes through it. I wake up to the noise and dry mouth. Any suggestions for this? I've been experimenting with double tape, or a second thicker tape over the first.
- With tape and a strap, is the air entering caused by the tongue falling forward? Might tongue exercises help?
Any suggestions on what to try? I'm hoping EPR 0 will help with CAs so then I can increase my pressure from 9-11 to a min of 10 or even 11. Thank you
