Memorial Day - Get an AXON and ADM Mount with an ACAL for $1495

After a battery of testing on the Z-Bolt ACAL which is finally here, we feel comfortable launching this on Memorial Day weekend, and the dudes at Z-Bolt were nice enough to help us extend a nice launch promo for you guys.

If you are interested in trying out the ACAL, Hit ApolloGearCo.com and order one and you'll receive a free Unity Axon momentary button and an American Defense QD mount upgrade over the stock bolt lug (which we found a little annoying).

A little over a year ago we made a post in here about the DTNVS Wide Angle or simply known as the WANGLE. At that time we had one of the early production units for T&E and had just put some hours on it.

About week ago, we got the first US market units which were a special run done in Europe and sent over to ACT US, who up to this point had not been able to get any of these at all due to European demand. We now have a handful available for purchase as complete systems, since that's the only way that ACT Europe has sent any over due to basically no excess production to support the typical "housing kit" approach. That hopefully will still happen eventually but no real timeframe for now.

Nothing significant has changed with the goggle from then to now. It's a 40 or 55 degree panning articulating dual system based on the DTNVS, which means it still has manual gain, pod shutoff etc. They are coming with RPO 4.0 eyepieces and 3.0 objectives as well as the IPD stop accessory, so the system weight is still about 18oz.

There's a few of these left and we're allowed to build them to suit although because they came as complete systems with 4G High Gain WP tubes from Europe, they're a little pricier than we're used to over here.

With the Vyper Pro also hitting the market now with the same tubes and optics, there's more 4G High Gain than there has been for a while. They're very interesting tubes which we're looking forward to testing more, especially now that we finally got some in a gain controllable format.

Anyways, just an update on the WANGLE for those who have been interested. If you've been wanting one, you can finally get one, however they still haven't gotten a smooth transition over to being able to effectively "upgrade" your existing system. But as an entirely new platform if you're starting from scratch and looking for a high end option they're incredible.
